What the Eco-font??
New to the green movement as well as a spectacular idea is Ecofont. Ecofont is a brand spanking new typeface designed in the Netherlands by SPANQ with our dear friend Mother Earth in mind. In a nutshell, these Dutch geniuses designed a font that uses teeny tiny holes as well as up to 20% less ink when printed. When you use this new font, you will use less paper and less ink leading to less ink cartridges/garbage in landfills. You can download and use it for free with the click of your heels online at:

It's Good to be Green
We've all heard that green is the new black, organic is better for you and the environment than mass produced #2 corn fed livestock, global warming is alive and well, and well- it's enough to make your head spin and take notice. Well, going green is one thing I am going to focus on in the new year. After living in Southern California for 10 years and being surrounded by a bohemian mindset, I have taken great strides in my efforts over the years, but am not quite at the level I want. So, this will be my articles on what I'm doing and tips on how we can all make a difference .
To begin my deeper journey on the road to green, I am reading Gorgeously Green-8 Simple Steps to an Earth-Friendly Life by Sophie Uliano. This book covers everything from food to beauty and everything in between. Uliano knows we want to be green AND gorgeous so she has put everything together in one book.
